After working all night in the ER, Daniel gets an update from Maxine. Nicole is awake and is talking with Brady. Daniel is glad Brady came to see Nicole. He does not want her to be alone. He will check on her later. He heads off to see Jennifer. At the Horton house, Hope greets Daniel at the door wearing a pilgrim's hat. She informs him that Jennifer is not at home, but he is welcomed to wait for her. Hope and Daniel discuss the turn of events. Hope reassures Daniel that Jennifer does not blame him for what happened with Nicole. She is confident that Jennifer will get through this. With the help of her family and friends, Hope specifically singles out Daniel as the person Jennifer has to lean on. Daniel barely smiles, wondering if that is true. When Jennifer arrives back home, she lets Daniel know she went to see Nicole. That visit did not go well. Jennifer also went to the District Attorney. Daniel waits for her answer on whether she will press charges against Nicole.
