Daniel is with Nicole at the hospital. Nicole questions Daniel's intent. Will he only be with her if she admits that it was an accident. Daniel jumps on Nicole's words "if it was an accident". He wants her to tell the truth,do the right thing so they can have a fresh start with no regrets. Roman comes to take Nicole's statement. She tells him it was an accident.
Daniel goes to look for event flyer's in Jennifer's office. Abigail arrives. She is miffed with Daniel for putting her mother in this situation. Daniel apologizes and wants Jennifer to know there is hope. Abigail tells Daniel it is too late to help. Nicole wants her mother to go to prison.
When Daniel returns to Nicoles room, he learns she gave Roman a statement that it was an accident. Daniel is pleased with her decision. He kisses her goodnight and whispers "tomorrow".
At the apartment, Daniel calls to have the baby clothes Nicole had bought picked up. He is unaware that one baby item of Nicole's was found earlier in the exam room Nicole was looking at when she found out the baby was stillborn.
