Daniel tends to Jennifer's hurt hand unaware that Nicole is watching. Jennifer once again makes an attempt to talk to him about Nicole. Daniel ignores her. Kayla notices the tension between them. She makes a remark that Jennifer is thinking about leaving her job at the hospital. The remark resonates with Daniel. He calls Godfather Victor to help him sort things out. Victor is pleased to see Daniel. Victor tells Daniel he is a good man. He would like to think that being his Godfather helped to make him that way. Daniel flashes back to Nicole asking him to be her baby's Godfather. After Victor's remark, he realizes that his place is to do the same for Nicole's baby. He returns to the hospital and tells Jennifer she doesn't have to quit her job there, as he will be tendering his resignation.
