At the Kiriakis' mansion, Daniel continues to listen to Victor's barrage of insults against Nicole. Daniel stands his ground and declares he is still leaving for Utah with Nicole. Daniel receives a call from Brady. Nicole has been in an accident. The arguing stops. Daniel heads to the hospital, Victor and Maggie follow.
At the hospital, Maxine tells Daniel that Nicole is fine, but shakes her head at the mention of the baby. Daniel steadies himself before seeing Nicole. She is devastated. Daniel holds her. He will help her get through this. Nicole tells Daniel that her baby's death was not an accident. Jennifer pushed her down the stairs. Daniel is stunned to hear the news. When Daniel updates Maggie and Victor, Brady interjects his eye witness account. Nicole may be telling the truth.
