Daniel tries to reason with Nicole. He can't leave Salem tonight. It will take at least a week to put his affairs in order. Nicole keeps pushing to go to Utah tonight. Daniel reassures her. They will go to Utah and he will adopt her baby. He also wants to be sure Nicole's doctor approves her to travel. He encourages her to move up her appointment with her Obstetrician.
Daniel gets a call from Victor. He is not feeling well. Daniel heads to the Kiriakis mansion only to find Victor in good health. Victor has summoned him to talk him out of leaving town with that "conniving bitch" Nicole. Daniel attempts to defend Nicole, but Victor continues to berate his plans. Daniel cannot be swayed. He will be leaving with Nicole.
