     At the hospital, Daniel checks on Nicole. She restates her story, blaming Jennifer for pushing her down the stairs. She cries that Daniel doesn't believe her. Daniel shares with her that other people are backing up her story. Later, Daniel struggles to understand Jennifer's actions.  He wants to talk to Jennifer to hear her side of the story. Billie informs him that Jen has been arrested for the murder of Nicole's baby. Daniel calls Rafe to stay with Nicole and he heads off to jail to talk with Jennifer.  He presses Jennifer to tell him what happened. She is unclear, but she never had any intent of pushing Nicole down the stairs. Daniel says he believes her. Jennifer asks why. Daniel responds he believes her because she doesn't lie.
