     Daniel is at the prison. He has just learned that Nick has been granted parole. He respectfully asks the parole board to reconsider their decision. Melanie reveals that she did not oppose Nick's release. Daniel and Chad are stunned to hear her decision. Daniel talks with Melanie one on one. Melanie tells Daniel that she didn't oppose the parole because of Maggie. Daniel hugs her and tells her he is proud of her. He later stops by the Kiriakis mansion to apologize to Maggie.
