Daniel is with Nicole. She is not happy with Daniel's idea for her to stay with Victor and Maggie. She again hints to stay with him. Jennifer steps in and offers to have Nicole stay with her. Daniel thinks it is a win-win situation. He also makes it a point to tell Jennifer how very gracious she is to do this for Nicole.
Daniel receives a phone call from Chad that Melanie has disappeared. They meet at the square and decide to split up to look for her. Daniel heads to the parole hearing thinking Melanie has changed her mind and will now testify at the hearing. He walks in on Hope, Maggie and Jessica exclaiming they think it went well for Nick. Daniel is not happy with that news. He is frustrated. Still no sign of Melanie and he is unable to reach Chad for an update.
