Daniel meets with Maggie at the Horton Town Square. He asks her for a favor. He needs a place for his friend to stay. Maggie is more than happy to help, even when she finds out Daniel's friend is Nicole. Daniel is sure Victor will have a cow, but Maggie says she will handle him.
Nicole shows up at the hospital. She approaches Daniel about Melanie's predicament with Nick's parole hearing. She offers to create a media storm to keep Nick in prison. Daniel doesn't think that is a good idea. First of all, because Melanie is her own person and it is her decision and secondly, that kind of help is not their style. Nicole says she would do anything for him. Nicole then asks Daniel if he has found her a new living situation. Daniel thinks he may have an answer soon. Nicole is puzzled. She assumed she would be moving in with him. Daniel tells her no, it is with Victor and Maggie. Nicole stares, stunned.
