At the hospital, Daniel overhears Anne from HR, assign Jennifer a basement office. He confronts her. He reminds her of their previous conversation on how he expects Jennifer to be treated with respect upon her return. Maxine stands by. She observes Dr. Jonas setting things right with Anne. Anne bitterly retreats to find Jennifer a new office. When Jennifer arrives, Maxine informs her of what Daniel did for her. When Jennifer sees Daniel, she scolds him for stepping in. Daniel apologizes. Later, Maxine lets Jennifer know she must be crazy for not thanking Dr. Jonas for helping her.
Daniel is in the lounge, pensively thinking about his conversation with Jennifer. Nicole arrives with good news. She tells him that she is going to name the baby Daniel. Daniel is overjoyed. Nicole wants Daniel to know how important he is to her. She kisses Daniel.
