Daniel is with Melanie. He tries to convince her to do what is best for her. He reassures her that he will not let her down. She is the most important person in the world to him. Melanie changes the subject and wants to know if Daniel still cares for Jennifer. Jen and Abigail will be returning from California soon. Daniel thinks it is best if he keeps his distance. Melanie is not so sure. Daniel receives a page from Nicole. She is worried about EJ again. Nicole meets with Daniel at the hospital. He tries to assure her, everything will be ok. Daniel has an idea. Nicole fantasizes about Daniel letting her move in with him to keep her safe. But when she snaps out of her daydream, she is disappointed to find Daniel has another idea.
