At the Brady Pub, Nicole reveals her honest feelings for Daniel. She wants them to be together, to be a family. Daniel tells her he wants to be honest too. He tells her that he can only be friends with her. He also tells Nicole that showing an open relationship at this point would red flag EJ for sure. She is an independent woman and for right now she needs to focus on her baby. He is called away to check on Melanie. Later, Nicole daydreams of being a family with Daniel and her son.
Melanie is struggling with Nick's parole hearing. Daniel listens to her confusion and tries to support her, but Melanie is questioning how this will affect her relationship with Maggie and Abby.
