Daniel is on duty at the hospital when Stefano is wheeled in. Bo and Hope confirm it is him and he is alive, which means EJ is no longer a suspect in his murder. Daniel calls Nicole to give her an update. Cameron is on his way to see Abigail. Daniel asks if he could let him know how Jennifer is doing. Cameron thinks he could go see Jennifer on his break. Daniel declines, saying it is complicated. Daniel goes back to work and notices Madison's death certificate. He heads to the Kiriakis mansion to see Brady. When he gets there, he finds Nicole trying to comfort Brady. Daniel tells Brady he knows how he feels. He can relate to his situation from losing his first wife, Rebecca. Daniel has to leave to go back to the hospital. Nicole does a soft high five with Daniel and says they make a great team. Their fingers entwine. Nicole pushes to see him tomorrow. He agrees.
