At the hospital, Daniel finds a very beautiful Nicole dressed and ready to leave the hospital. She again invites Daniel to dinner. He again backs off and tells her he has to work. But, he does reassure Nicole that he is there for her and her baby.
Maggie tells Daniel of Jack's death. Daniel immediately reaches for his phone to call Jennifer, but stops. He is distraught with the news and realizes the pain Jennifer and Abby must be going through. He asks Maggie to keep him informed and to watch out for them. Maggie sees it in his eyes....he is still in love with Jennifer. Daniel and Maggie are unaware that Nicole is listening in on their conversation. Daniel tells Maggie he resolved his feelings for Jennifer a long time ago and they are over. Maggie doesn't believe him. Nicole sets her plan in place to remind Jennifer that Daniel is no longer available to her.
