Daniel sits with Nicole in her hospital room. Nicole wants to say something. Daniel tells her he has not treated her well. He has been a jackass. Nicole starts to tell him that is not true when Maggie interrupts. Daniel is needed for Melanie. Daniel finds out that Melanie's captor has been brought to the hospital. When he reaches Andrew's room, Daniel pronounces Andrew dead. Daniel checks on Melanie and then he returns to Nicole's room. She tries to persuade him they need to talk. She invites him for dinner. Daniel backs away from the offer saying he has to work.
