Daniel meets with Austin and Carrie in his office. Austin is excited to confirm that Carrie is pregnant. Rafe and Nicole also arrive for their appointment and the two couples have an awkward moment. Daniel will put a rush on the tests and exits with Austin to fill out paperwork. Later, Daniel talks with Nicole about getting a new doctor. When the DNA test is brought up, Nicole becomes defensive and says she will not let EJ get a hold of her baby. The test results return and Daniel congratulates Carrie and Austin as they are going to have a baby. A sullen Rafe and Nicole watch as Carrie and Austin hug. Daniel says nothing, but quietly observes as each of their four reactions unfuld as they assess the news.
