    Daniel meets Nicole at the Club TBD. He hands her an envelope. She opens it and finds that he has scored tickets to the Mayor's New Year's Eve Gala. She is ecstatic! Daniel asks her if she is sure that she is over Eric. Nicole says yes! It is a date then. Daniel will call her later for a time to meet. 
   At the hospital, Daniel runs into Jennifer. He tells her that he wants to be upfront with her. He lets her know that he will dating Nicole. Jennifer puts on a happy face and wishes him well, but seems rather down with the news.  Maxine asks Daniel if he would be able to cover for a doctor tonight. Daniel says he has plans, but if he needs to he will stay. Maxine will try to call someone else to cover, but in the mean time she asks Daniel if he could check on a patient. Daniel says he will. 

    When Daniel arrives home, he walks in on Nicole and Melanie in a heated discussion. He learns Nicole was snooping around Serena's hotel room. Daniel is not happy.
