At the hospital, Anne makes Daniel sign a confidentiality form regarding his newest patient. When Daniel visits his patient, he recognizes him as a star baseball player. Daniel reviews the case and informs Paul he will need some physical therapy to regain his strength on his injured arm. Daniel informs Paul that Jordan will be by later to meet him.
Later, at Daniel's apartment, JJ stops by to drop off the coat he borrowed from Daniel. Daniel has to tell JJ that things have ended with Jennifer. He also needs his key back to respect Jennifer's wishes. JJ knows this is serious. He feels responsible for this. Daniel assures him that he mad a mistake with Jennifer and it can't be fixed. He warns JJ not to do the same thing with Paige.
