At the town square, Nicole questions Daniel about being with Kristen. Daniel admits it was a bad mistake. He tells Nicole that Jennifer ended things with him for good. Brady ended things with Kristen. They were both in a bad way and they reached out to each other for solace. Nicole makes a disgusting face at Daniel's words. She realizes that he is hurting and places her hand on his. Daniel leaves to figure things out. Nicole follows him to his place.
Daniel and Nicole talk. She listens and understands all too well about losing love. Nicole doesn't want to see Daniel sulk. She tells him he has always been a good man. She has always known that. She kisses him on the cheek and advises him to get some rest. When she leaves she turns the lights out and Daniel heads to bed.
