Daniel goes to Kristen's hotel room. She wants to persuade him into working with her to stop Theresa from getting her hooks into Brady. Daniel says there is no proof unless John comes forward with the truth. Kristen thinks Theresa will spill the truth to either Anne or Eve. Daniel tells her he will be cheering for her on the sidelines. Kristen offers Daniel champagne. Daniel warns Kristen that if she wants to get to Brady, she will have to go through him. She playfully likes that idea. She sidles up to him and tempts him with wanting to get to know him better. Daniel opens the door to leave. Kristen tells him that if he leaves the champagne will go flat. As Kristen has Daniel in a short embrace, Jennifer walks into the open door and sees the two together. Daniel leaves.
Later, Daniel comes across Nicole on a bench crying. He sees that she could use a friend. He offers to redo the coffee date they had earlier. Nicole would like that.
