At the hospital, Daniel informs Brady and Marlena that John has not responded to the drug. His window of opportunity to recover may have been missed. Daniel worries that Brady will slip back into doing drugs. Brady tells him he is off to see Eric. Daniel has to go to the Kiriakis mansion and will check in with Brady later.
Daniel picks up Parker's stuffed bunny rabbit at the Kiriakis home. When he leaves, he finds Theresa at the door. He is not surprised she showed up. He tells her she must have heard about John. Daniel puts Theresa on notice that her questions about John's condition have sparked accusations. He thinks maybe she hit John and not Brady. Theresa goes into defense mode, but when Daniel gets a text, he lets her know that John maybe waking up, Theresa stares.
