Daniel is with Theresa when he gets news John is waking up. He makes Theresa even more nervous by telling her Brady is by John's bedside. When he wakes up, John will tell Brady what really happened that night.
Daniel arrives at the hospital. John has fallen back into a coma. Daniel updates Eric, Brady & Marlena that John is going to wake up, but it may take a bit of time.
Daniel is in his office when Jennifer stops by. She knows about Daniel treating JJ for drugs and wants to know if JJ is really ok. Daniel says yes. Jennifer starts in on Daniel for not telling her about JJ. Daniel says it was JJ's decision. Jennifer is hurt that Daniel would hold this secret and not tell her. Daniel tells her things have changed. They are no longer together. Jennifer remarks that Daniel is punishing her. He can forget about having coffee, because it seems he has already forgotten about her.
