Daniel holds Kristen captive in the hotel supply room. He falls asleep and dreams of all the woman who have betrayed him. Kriten's goons are still on the hunt for them. Daniel has to put her gag back on to keep her quiet. He needs to move her. His plan is to take her back to Salem. She threatens him with Stefano's wrath. Daniel is not impressed.
Daniel smuggles them onto a laundry truck. He spends the time talking to Kristen about what she did to Eric. She tries to puts the blame elsewhere to justify her actions. Daniel pushes Kristen to admit her part in hurting Eric. She finally admits what she did. There is a tense aura between Daniel and Kristen. She finally backs down and explains her actions. She was going after Marlena. Marlena had taken John from her and then Brady. What better way to hurt Marlena than to go after Eric. Daniel listens to Kristen's emotional confession. She claims she never wanted to hurt Eric. He was very kind to her. Daniel sarcastically says it didn't really work out that way. Kristen says it is not over. She still loves Brady and she knows he still loves her.
