Daniel is at the hospital when he happens upon Anne doing her happy dance. He senses she is up to no good. Anne doesn't hesitate to shove the article about Abigail in Daniel's face to read. Daniel reads the article and quickly dismisses Anne's spiteful behavior.
Daniel leaves the hospital to go console Abigail. She appreciates his kind words. Daniel thinks it will only take a couple of weeks for the scandal to blow over. Abigail hugs Daniel. She then gets a text from Will. She leaves to go see him. Daniel sits with Jennifer for a moment. She hopes he is ok after what Kristen put him through. Daniel senses Jennifer is looking for an in to start a reconciliation with him. He cuts the visit short and makes a quick exit.
Back at the hospital, Daniel overhears Theresa discussing Brady with Anne. Suspicious of Theresa's motive, Daniel is short with her. She tells Daniel it is best if they go back to ignoring each other and to leave her alone. Daniel finds her attitude even more suspicious.
