At the hospital, Daniel confronts Nicole. He asks her what she has done to Eric now. Nicole goes on the defensive and says she did everything to clear Eric's name. She blames Kristien for all of Eric's problems. Nicole questions Daniel if they can ever be friends again. Daniel turns her down. She used him and lied to him and about him. They will never be friends again.
Daniel goes to the park to pick up Parker. Paige tells him JJ has left to be with his mom. The lawsuit is over. Paige tells Daniel she is attending Salem University in the fall. Daniel offers to put in a good word for her at the pre-med program at the hospital. Paige is grateful. Paige leaves. Daniel gets a huge hug from Parker.
Later, Theresa spots Daniel. She tells him she is worried for Brady. She round about asks if John will come out of the coma. Daniel is on to Theresa. He asks her if she would be more concerned if John did come out of the coma.
Daniel rudely walks away from Theresa, quickly picks up Parker and goes home.
