Daniel reiterates to Nicole, If she does not tell Eric the truth, he will. Eric joins them and immediately senses there is still a problem between Daniel and Nicole. Nicole avoids the real issue and tells Eric they are worried about Brady. Nicole saw him drinking with Theresa earlier in the day. Eric is not surprised by his brother's actions. He wants to know what is really bothering Nicole and Daniel. Nicole evades the real issue again and blames it on her shooting Daniel. Daniel tells Nicole to forget the past. He is more worried about the present. Eric agrees. He asks Daniel to be his best man at the wedding. Daniel is caught off guard and does not know what to say. Nicole says she wants Daniel to be her best man. Daniel leaves the table to get a refiil. Eric asks Nicole why Daniel is so tense and distant. Daniel returns to the table and has to leave. He asks Nicole to drive him home to finish their conversation unless she would like to finish it in front of Eric. Nicole quickly decides to take Daniel home.
At Daniel's apartment, Daniel chastises Nicole for compounding the issue. She needs to tell Eric now! Nicole continues to beg her "happiness is at stake" plea to Daniel. She pleads for him to let it go and let her be happy. Daniel blasts her. Eric is his friend too. He tells her to stop changing the subject. She almost killed Jennifer and him on Smith Island by not coming forward about Liam. He tells Nicole again, she has to tell Eric the truth. Nicole regretfully tells him she will.
Nicole leaves and Jennifer arrives. She wants to know why Daniel is so upset with Nicole. Nicole finds Eric. She announces they need to elope. Eric stares.
