At the Chyka hideout, Daniel and Nicole are getting answers from Chyka. Nicole is video taping the evidence that Chyka developed a cocktail to give to Fr. Eric. As their interrogation proceeds a gunman barges through the door and halts all the proceedings. Daniel attacks him and they swap fists, but Daniel takes an untimely blow and it knocks him to the floor unconscious. Nicole strokes Daniel's hair to see if he is ok. The gunman tells them two down and one to go. Nicole begins to plea with him. The gunman does not care. He has his orders. As Nicole pleads, Daniel comes to and grabs the fireplace poker by his hand. He rises and attacks the gunman. They skirmish and as a result the gun goes off.
