At Daniel's apartment, Theresa reveals that she knows Daniel has been lying to her. Daniel gets ticked off knowing that she has been playing him since the night she overdosed. Daniel receives a call that JJ has gotten probation. Theresa pushes Daniel to start over with her. She knows he wants her. Daniel tells her she is misreading this situation. JJ called him, he saved her ass. Daniel reiterates that they have no relationship. Theresa lays her cards on the the table. She threatens Daniel with going to the court about the night she overdosed. Daniel could lose his medical license and JJ would go straight to jail. Is that what he wants? And she adds how do you think Jennifer would feel if JJ is in prison? Theresa's blackmail aggravates Daniel. He tells her she is insane and shows her the door. Theresa says his career is on the line. She has proof. Theresa shows Daniel a video. Daniel stares.
Theresa flaunts her sexual plans for her and Daniel. Daniel grabs her by the arms and pushes her away. He takes something off the table and flings it against the wall. Theresa is taken off guard by Daniel's temper. Daniel refuses to be blackmailed by her. Theresa offers a new deal. They can skip the sex and he can just write her a big fat five figured check. Daniel tells her he guesses he has no choice. He begins to write the check. Before he can sign the check, a knock comes at the door. JJ arrives. Theresa's mouth drops.
