At the hospital, Theresa rudely interrupts Daniel and Maggie. Maggie asks her where her manners are. Theresa bluntly replies she is learning to be direct and honest. She tells Maggie she is quitting AA. She tries to harass Daniel, but he brushes her off. Theresa knows that he did not tell Jennifer that they did not sleep together or Jennifer would be out gunning for her. Daniel gives Theresa another stern warning. If she hurts anyone that he cares about she will be sorry.
Daniel walks into the Brady pub and hears Marlena being judgmental to Nicole. He steps up and defends Nicole. He tells Marlena she should be thanking Nicole for what she has done to help Eric. He also thinks an apology is in order. Marlena apologizes to Nicole and abruptly leaves. Eric joins the table. He tells Daniel about his decision to leave the priesthood. Daniel realizes it is a big decision. He decides to leave so Eric and Nicole can talk. Eric asks him to keep the news quiet for now until he can tell his family. Daniel agrees.
At Daniel's apartment, Daniel is on the phone with Chloe. Parker is under the weather and Daniel agrees that he should stay with Chloe until he is feeling better. Disappointed, Daniel ends the call. A knock comes at the door. When Daniel opens it...it is Jennifer. Daniel is unaware that JJ has told Jennifer the truth about everything.
