At Dr Chyka's hideout, Daniel and Nicole are surprised by one of Stefano's henchman. Daniel fights with him. In the middle of the struggle, the gun goes off just missing Nicole. Daniel subdues the intruder. A text on the passed out henchman's phone goes off wondering what is going on. Daniel texts back on the henchman's phone that everything is all right. He hopes it will buy them some time. He decides that whoever is looking for Stefano's henchman will come looking for him. He will take the henchman and his phone and drive 15 miles away to a train station. The GPS on the phone will lead whom ever is looking for the henchman to that location. Daniel will leave the henchman's phone in the car with the henchman and he will take the train back to Salem. Nicole will stay at the cabin and get the information from Chyka to clear Eric's name. Daniel warns her to not stay any longer than she has to at the cabin. It is too dangerous. When Daniel leaves, Chyka gets free and attacks Nicole. He flees with her phone that she was using to video tape him and leaves with the hand gun. Nicole frets, all the evidence she had collected on video is now gone and she is unable to warn Daniel. She flashes back to something Chyka said and goes to the painting on the wall. She finds a wall safe and opens it. It contains all the files on Eric Brady's drugging.
