Daniel and Parker meet up with Grandma Maggie at the Brady pub. Daniel thinks a trip to see Melanie in Europe would be a good thing right now. Maggie thinks it might just be to get away from Jennifer. Anne is sitting at the bar eavesdropping on Jennifer's plight.
Parker hugs Daniel goodbye and leaves with Maggie to go climb a tree in her backyard. Daniel spots Kayla at the bar. He can tell she is upset. He questions her why, but all she will say is she talked to JJ in the park. Daniel is unaware that Kayla's conversation with JJ was about Jack. Kayla implied to JJ that Jack had flaws. JJ doesn't believe it. Kayla hides the fact from JJ that Jack raped her.
Daniel tries to get Kayla to open up, but she quickly makes an excuse that she is late for work and exits. Daniel watches her frustration as she abruptly leaves.
