At the rectory, Daniel meets with Fr. Eric. It looks like all the samples Mason gathered are now gone. Daniel is still concerned there may be someone trying to harm Eric. Eric puts it all in God's hands. He will not live in fear. Eric also recognizes Daniel is a troubled soul. He offers to listen to what ever is bothering Daniel. Daniel reveals a bit of his unwholesome past and because of his son, he doesn't want to ever set that example for his son. Eric guesses he is talking about Jennifer.
At the Horton town square, Daniel runs into Brady. He learns Brady is seeing Kristen again.
At the hospital, Jennifer daydreams about Daniel consenting to having a secret relationship. Later, Daniel tells her he will not agree to her conditions. He can't and walks away from her.
