At the hospital, Daniel is leaving Jennifer a note. He is unaware that Theresa is in the doorway checking him out. She finally introduces herself to Daniel in her most charming manner. Daniel is oblivious to her attempts to get to know him. He exchanges pleasantries and leaves.
Abigail sees Daniel. She tries to persuade him not to give up on her mother. Daniel says not even cupid could help their situation. It is all up to her mother to resolve.
Daniel meets with Rafe. He tells him his recovery should not be rushed. Rafe asks how long. Daniel tells him he will have a therapist evaluate him. For now he is to to take it one day at a time and let his recovery come to him.
