At Daniel's apartment, Maggie questions him about Jennifer. Daniel hems and haws around the issue, but then confesses that Jennifer is in denial about JJ not liking him. Maggie says he may be right. She did see JJ in the hospital parking lot the day his car was vandalized. Maggie encourages Daniel to resolve things with Jennifer sooner than later.
Later, at the town square, Daniel is writing a letter to Jennifer when Nicole passes by. Nicole tells Daniel she is going away with Brady for a few days. Daniel doesn't think this is a good idea. He warns Nicole to be careful. He doesn't want to see either Nicole or Brady get hurt
Daniel goes to work at the hospital. He walks in on JJ rifling through a desk drawer. Daniel asks JJ "What are you doing?"
