At the hospital, Daniel receives Eric's tests results. He is unable to determine what caused Eric's illness. Daniel wants to run more tests, but Eric declines. Daniel is not comfortable with not knowing why Eric got suddenly sick and then quickly recovered. Daniel wants answers. Nicole asks if Eric's memory of that night will come back. Daniel imparts that returning to the hotel room could trigger the memory recall, but it is not a guarantee.
Later, at the nurses station, Anne cannot wait to tell Daniel that Jennifer's son has been arrested. Daniel stares and ponders the news.
