At Daniel's apartment, Abigail drops by to apologize for what happened with Parker. Daniel assures her it was not her fault. Abigail tries to make Daniel understand how hard things have been for JJ since their father died. Daniel listens patiently, but makes no effort to forgive JJ's actions. Abigail leaves.
Later, Jennifer stops by to see Daniel. Jennifer tells Daniel that she believes JJ had nothing to do with trashing his car. Daniel doesn't believe it. Jennifer asks Daniel why he didn't tell her about his suspicions sooner. Daniel blurts out because he loves her and did not want to hurt her. Daniel tells Jennifer that she knows her son better than anyone, he trusted her to handle it. Jennifer takes offense to Daniel judging her parental attributes and tension mounts. Jennifer proclaims she knows she is right about JJ and abruptly leaves. Daniel watches Jennifer leave. He stands frustrated by Jennifer's attitude and actions.
