At the Horton house, Daniel receives praise from Abigail and Jennifer for saving Will's life. JJ offers his thanks as well to Daniel, but it is a forced and insincere remark. JJ watches Daniel and Jennifer leave together. He continues to resent Daniel for being in his mother's life.
Daniel heads to the Dimera mansion. He convinces Brady they need to go out, before Brady's wedding to Kristen tomorrow. Brady accepts. They go to the batting cages and settle in at the Horton Square for a bite to eat. Brady starts to talk about John, then catches himself and remarks that after tomorrow, John will have no choice but to leave him and Kristen alone. Jennifer shows up and Brady realizes that Kristen is now alone in her hotel room. He decides there is still time to see her before midnight.
