Daniel pulls Jennifer outside of the Brady Pub to tell her about Nancy's plan to help him get Chloe to move on. Before he can reveal this new hope, Anne interrupts them. They agreee to meet at the Horton Square in 20 min after Daniel makes his speech honoring Maxine. When Daniel finds Jennifer at the square, she is embroiled in a heated conversation with Nancy. Daniel is unaware of the bad blood between them and is caught off guard. Jennifer berates Daniel and breaks off future interest with him if Nancy is any way involved. Later, Daniel sees unresponsive Jennifer back at the party. Daniel drowns his sorrows and then heads back to his hotel room. Chloe comes knocking at his door to return his hospital badge. Daniel dismisses Chloe, but she enters anyway to make him a hangover remedy. When he staggers, Chloe finds it an opportunity to plant a hot kiss on drunken Daniel.
