     Jennifer has just slapped Daniel across the face. He is stunned by her actions and questions her why. She storms off telling Daniel she never wants to hear from him again.  Hope approaches Daniel after just witnessing Jennifer's quick departure. Daniel laments to Hope, he doesn't know why Jennifer is so angry.  Hope suggest Daniel give Jen some time and for him to get some rest before talking with her. Daniel agrees and makes his way back to his hotel room. He is just ready to get in bed when Nancy comes knocking at his door. Daniel lets her in. He is unaware that she is really there to retrieve the sleeping pills Chloe used to drug Daniel.  Daniel has some choice words for Nancy, specifically her omitting that there was bad blood between her and Jennifer. Nancy secretly retrieves the pills and apologizes to Daniel for any trouble she may have caused. Nancy leaves. Daniel falls into a deep heavy sleep. He does not hear his phone ring when Jennifer calls.
