Jennifer knocks on Daniel's hotel room. When the door opens, Chloe is there and Daniel is half naked passed out on the bed. Chloe tells Jennifer it is not what it looks like. Jennifer leaves disgusted. Chloe has second thoughts about giving Daniel alcohol and sleeping pills. She places his phone in bed by him and leaves. Outside she calls him, he answers and he wants to meet with her. Chloe is hopeful that a reunion is on the horizon.
At the park, Daniel puts all his cards on the table. He loves Jennifer. He wants Chloe to be a part of his son's life. But , he will take action to break all ties if Chloe cannot control this situation. He wants to be with Jennifer. Chloe leaves, but lingers close enough to see Jennifer approach Daniel. Daniel is surprised to see her this late at night. Daniel tells her he has been thinking of her all night. Assuming he spent the night with Chloe, Jennifer slaps Daniel across the face.
