Daniel arrives at Jennifer's home. He informs her that their trip to Chicago is off. He has to be at the hospital early. But the date is still on. Daniel just wants to spend some quality alone time with her. Daniel invites Jennifer to his home for pizza. Jennifer is pleased at that idea.
Daniel is at home preparing for his date with Jennifer. He stops to answer his phone. It is Maxine at the hospital. She advises him that his patient only wants to see him and not the doctor on duty. Daniel does not want to have to break his date with Jennifer. Maxine suggests faxing him the stats and he can adjust medication as needed. Daniel loves that idea and calls Maxine an angel. Daniel continues to prepare for the date. In his nervousness, he spills wine on his shirt. He goes to change. When he returns, he hears the knock at the door and assumes it is Jennifer. But, he is surprised when he opens the door to find his ex-wife Chloe!
