Daniel joins the holiday festivities at the Kiriakis mansion. As Daniel enters, Abigail is heading out the door. Abigail makes it a point to tell Daniel that despite their differences in the past, she is glad that he makes her mom happy. Daniel's mind is put at ease knowing that Abigail approves of his relationship with Jennifer.
Justin announces Bo, Daniel, Justin & Brady have a gift for Victor. Victor is touched when he receives the deed to the first boat his grandfather ever owned.
Daniel pulls out his phone to text Jennifer , but puts it away. He is cautious not to appear too anxious to be with her. But, when he receives a "Merry Christmas" text from Jennifer, he immediately responds with the same text. Both are happy they got a text.
At Midnight mass, Jennifer and Daniel are sitting across the aisle from each other. They steal loving glances back and forth.
