Daniel finds the matching baby top in the lost and found. He reads the tag and questions why Nicole would have been in exam room B in the morning of her baby's death. He recalls her telling him she did not have an appointment. Daniel questions Nicole's doctor. On the day in question Dr. Knapp had an emergency. Nicole was seen by Dr. Sedgwick. Daniel tries reaching Dr. Sedgwick, but with no luck. Rafe happens by and knows a guy who can find anyone. Rafe comes through and Daniel speaks with Dr. Sedgwick. He learns that Nicole's baby was already dead at the the early morning appointment. Daniel is overwhelmed by the news.
