At the hospital, Daniel and Maxine welcome Jennifer back to work. An uncomfortable moment takes place as Jennifer feels the hospital staff is watching their every move. Jennifer asks Daniel to stop by her office later. Daniel agrees.
Daniel goes home to shower. Maggie tracks him down and brings him lunch. Daniel checks on Nicole, but he has not been able to reach her. Maggie says nothing. She does bring up Jennifer though. Daniel asks her to give it a rest. She is not ready for a new relationship. Maggie disagrees, comparing her loss for Mickey and moving forward with Victor. Daniel admits he told Jennifer he still loves her. Maggie suggests he doesn't wait, to act on his feelings and to let things happen.
Daniel enters Jennifer's office. She looks up and their eyes lock. Daniel awaits what she has to say.
