Daniel answers the door at his apartment. Abigail enters. She is worried about Melanie. Daniel tells her that Melanie is on a plane to Barcelona to be with her Mom. She questions him about the wedding. Daniel suggests she get the details from Melanie. The conversation turns to Jennifer. Daniel finds out that Nicole and Jennifer are not getting along. In fact they are fighting over him. He asks Abigail to look out for her Mom.
Later, Nicole arrives and spews insults about Jennifer to Daniel. He agrees to let her stay the night and they will look for some place safe for her tomorrow. She is about to ask him to let her stay until the baby is born when Brady arrives. He speaks to Daniel privately, but they are unaware Nicole is eavesdropping on their conversation. Brady warns Daniel to be careful of Nicole. She is not a woman who likes to finish second. Daniel tells Brady he has made a commitment to Nicole and her baby. But, he also admits he loves Jennifer and a part of him always will. Hiding behind the door, Nicole scowls at hearing Daniel's words.
