Daniel questions Nicole about the incident. He wants to know if it could have been an accident. Nicole gets upset. She accuses Daniel of taking Jennifer's side because he is still in love with her. Daniel tells Nicole to calm down, but she can't calm down when she feels Jennifer has a hold on him. Daniel vents he is not taking sides. Cameron enters and tells Daniel to leave. Frustrated, Daniel reluctantly leaves, saying he is sorry.
Daniel visits Maggie. She can tell he is upset by what happened to Nicole and what it is doing to Jennifer. She also senses that he is in trouble. Maggie tells him that every time Nicole sees Jennifer, it will bring up bad memories. Daniel agrees. He forms a plan. He tells Nicole he will always want her in his life. They will go away together.
