Daniel is confronted by Jennifer about Nicole. She chastises him for getting involved with Nicole and her lies. Daniel has a hard time hearing what Jennifer is saying. His emotions start to unravel as he realizes he has disappointed her. He wipes a tear from his eye. She unleashes part two of her spiel and puts him on guard that EJ is making plans to learn who the baby's rightful father is. Daniel's career will be in jeopardy. Daniel tells Jen that she doesn't have all the facts. Jennifer wants to know how Nicole got him to sleep with her. Daniel doesn't offer any excuses, but Jennifer's disappointment in him continues to have him shaken. He ends the one sided conversation by abruptly leaving.
Daniel heads to the Horton house to see Nicole. She knows that Jennifer has gotten to Daniel and could expose her. Daniel tells her it is worse than that. EJ is putting a plan in place to show he is the rightful father of her child. Daniel has called Rafe. He thinks they should stick to their original plan.
