Daniel stays with Nicole who is having early labor pains. He directs Bo to get his medical bag. When Bo returns, Daniel gives Nicole a shot and is able to stop Nicole's contractions. Daniel checks on the baby and is happy to reveal the baby's heartbeat is strong. Nicole is grateful that Daniel stayed with her and saved her baby. Daniel leaves to find Melanie. He finally finds her and a tearful reunion ensues. Daniel holds her tightly in his arms. He later learns that her captor, Andrew got away. He tells Melanie that from now on she is his first priority.
