Daniel is with Nicole at the Salem police station. He is frustrated that he has been limited to checking social media to try and find Melanie. Maggie arrives with files from the spa. She is terribly upset, but Daniel hugs her and tries to reassure her. In the files, Daniel finds a small clue that may be a lead. Nicole takes the information down the hall to Rafe. When Daniel checks on Nicole, he sees her embraced in Rafe's arms. He returns to the office he was working in. Maggie blames herself for leaving town. Daniel tells Maggie not to lose hope, he will do everything he can to find her. He also calls her "Mom". Maggie is pleased with Daniel's kind gesture. She leaves as Nicole comes back into the office. Daniel decides to leave also. Nicole tries to tag along, but Daniel tells her no. He needs to focus on finding his daughter.
