Daniel waits anxiously outside for the investigators to give him any information regarding Melanie's disappearance. Nicole tries to calm him down and gives him a hug. Daniel thanks Nicole for her concern. But Daniel's restlessness for answers gets the better of him and he re-enters the house. He learns that the kidnapper also tried to take Gabi, but still no word on Melanie. Daniel's frustration grows. Nicole suggests they try to alert the media. Bo agrees and assigns Rafe to facilitate that happening. The trio heads to the town square. Daniel gets a phone call from Carly. While he is on the phone, he witnesses Nicole and Rafe smiling together. The scene does not sit well with Daniel as he thinks Nicole has deeper feelings for Rafe than she is letting on.
